For the past three months, I have been running in the Fly Evo Pullover. It’s a staple in my outdoor running gear and soon to be part of my outdoor riding gear. The Fly Evo Pullover is versatile. It’s form-fitting, drag resistant and provides stretch freedom for movement. That says a lot, especially for this time of year when runners have to layer up to keep warm and dry.

The best way to describe the fit: It’s so light I forget I have an outside layer on. When I ran in the pullover for the first time, I wasn’t sure if it would keep me warm, because it is so thin. But in the end, that is what sold me on the product.

According to a press release, the P.R.O. line technology brings aerodynamic, cooling, moisture transfer and thermal regulation to the runner, cyclist and triathlete. According to me: I benefited from this new technology, which by the way is tested with the Garmin-Slipstream Pro Cycling team, two-time Ironman and World Champion Tim DeBoom and the Pearl Izumi/Smith Adventure team.

Pearl Izumi’s goal, as stated in the press release: “to provide the fastest, most comfortable, best-fitting fabrics to enhance performance. We’re about creating weapons of mass acceleration.” 

I think these guys are onto something.
