Chagrin Valley Ski Club celebrates its 35th year as a nonprofit sports-oriented organization. The club is a sociable group of winter enthusiasts who participate in ski and snowboard activities when possible and more importantly, social and fun events throughout the year. Cleveland Metro Ski Council (CMSC). Made up of 25 ski clubs with a combined membership of about 8,000 in Northern Ohio and Western Pennsylvania. Fagowees is the Cleveland area’s largest ski and social club with members from all over Northeast Ohio. NASA Lewis Ski Club sponsors year-round recreation including trips for Alpine and Nordic skiing, bicycling, canoeing, rafting and all-around socializing. Members include a wide spectrum of people from young singles to established families. Most club activities are also open to nonmembers. Meetings are held at 5 p.m. the first Tuesday of the month (except May and July). Call to order 6 p.m., with the business portion of the meeting being completed by 7 p.m. There is usually a scheduled activity or presentation during the meeting.
